It’s weird to be here and not celebrate with friends and family but it doesn’t stray me from all the things I am thankful for and that’s all the people back home supporting me and everyone here with me. All the prayers, emails and letters have been wonderful. There are so many things to be thankful for. Being here in a country that does not have the same freedom that we have truly reminds us of how well we have it in America and how much we tend to take for granted. It will be nice to stand on the ground of freedom again soon! Great news as well – we might be coming home earlier than expected! Our mission here has been very successful. Provided we keep it up we will be coming home one month earlier than planned so I keep my fingers crossed!
Hope all is well back home for you and your family as well as the congregation. God Bless everyone and Happy Thanksgiving!

A ten-week Bible Study on the Gospel of Matthew will be held on Thursdays, January 17 to April 3 from 7-8:30 pm, let by Pr. Robert Mortvedt.
Matthew is first in the New Testament, not because it was written first, but because of the importance given to this gospel in the life of the church. Matthew’s depiction of Jesus’ teachings in the context of His life, death, and resurrection has shone like a moral beacon on the church path through the centuries.
Plan to join this class as we begin 2008. Sign up online. There will be a cost of $14 for the study book.
