Inspired by a similar question on some other blogs I’ve seen lately, I’m wondering just who is here; perhaps you are wondering the same thing . . . Let’s get to know each other a little better . . .
I’m Angela, and I work at Zion doing office support for communications and membership. Maintaining the church website is a part of my job so I’m on here most days, even if I’m not really at work. I’m also on facebook most days, it’s great for keeping up with my far away family and playing word games with an odd assortment of friends from all over.
So post in the comments . . . Who are you? Where are you? What do you do? What brought you to Zion’s little corner of the web today? And where else do you hang out online?

Hey Angela! I will start with a post for you……I am Vicki, and I am a member of Zion. I am self-employed and work at home. I have this page set as my homepage on my browser so I am always up to date with announcements from Zion. You do a great job keeping everything current…..Thanks! I also am on facebook most days and also enjoy the word games and checking up on “online friends”.

I am one of thos folks you may see at the front of the church on most Sundays playing guitar or mandolin. Then again … you may see me at a council meeting or music and worship committee meeting.
I work at Cabela’s in Rogers Minnesota. I am now in the Camping department. I’ve been at Cabela’s for 9 months.
I love all things Celtic ….. except hagus. Augh!
My wife Jan and I have been married for just over 8 years. They have been some of the best years I’ve ever known.

Why do I love this place you ask? I love Sherilyn Burgdorf! She is amazing, and embodies the love for others that Christ has for us all! She is one of many people I have been privilaged to meet here at Zion, and add to my list of friends. The people of this church keep my faith alive, some of the most amazing individuals I have ever met…worship within the walls of Zion.

I’ve been a part of Zion for almost 5 years. My husband Kelly and I attend the 8:30 service when my 3 kids – Kia, Tate, and Marna attend Sunday school. My kids make themselves at home when we are at Zion, especially the red-headed Marna who is not shy about being heard! We assist with Communion occasionally. You can also usually find us staying for coffee and donuts between services, we enjoy the fellowship. I am a Sunday school volunteer for the preschool kids at 10:30. I’m also a part of the Taco Team for Wednesday night suppers.
We joined Zion when Marna was a baby and have found Zion to be a place to grow spiritually, meet new people, and give our kids a place to learn about God and have fun.
I work full-time as a CPA for a small firm in Wayzata and have been there for almost 11 years.
I hang out online on Facebook and also have a Bebo site through which I communicate and share photos with my many siblings. I also like to read various blogs/websites related to personal finance, cooking, books, Zion, and others. One thing I like about Zion is it’s very up-to-date website! Thanks Angela – you do a great job!

You can find me singing in the choir on Sunday mornings. I have been a member of Zion for 28 years and have been a choir member all of that time. Roland and I have raised our children in Zion and consider it a ‘home away from home’.
Over the years I have been very involved in many areas of the church from leading worship with music to Confirmation to Church Council, Fellowship Committee and on and on. I love Zion and the wonderful members/staff who make up it’s family. This website is a wonderful way to keep up to date on the happenings here.
I am a self employed childcare provider and work in my home. You can find me on Facebook and AIM as I like to keep in touch with my expanding family as they are setting out on their own.
