Men’s Softball Hangs Tough, Falls to Buffalo Covenant

The Zion men’s softball team played an up and down game v. Buffalo Covenant #2 on Friday June 27th. Both teams had leads during the game, but it was Buffalo Covenant scoring in the bottom of the 7th inning to pull out a 13-12 win.

Zion falls to 2 W 6 L on the season with 2 games remaining. There are no games this Friday for the 4th of July, so next up is Buffalo Evangelical Free Church on Friday July 11th, at 8 PM.

LSS Center for Changing Lives

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota asked us to pass on this announcement:

These are just two of the comments we heard on June 12 when 87 people toured the Center for Changing Lives during a community picnic event hosted by the LSS Board of Directors.  More than 150 people attended and heard comments of support from Minneapolis City Council Member Scott Benson.  Please join us on one of these upcoming tours!
