“Festival Of Lights” Weekend
Family Camp weekend is a great opportunity for fall camping and socializing. It will be held at Baker Park Reserve September 26-28, 2008.
Stop by the information desk to pick up your campground info packet, or download Family Camp Details AND 2008 Baker Campground Guidelines. Reserve your spot now. . . the campground is filling up!
Bring your lights, luminaries, & flashlights! Check in Friday evening & decorate your site. Prizes awarded for best site decorations. Campsite judging begins at dusk on Saturday. Activities for most of the weekend will be starting late afternoon on Saturday.
Park activities for the whole family to enjoy have not been finalized yet, but in the past they have included a nature program, face painting, moon walk, climbing wall under the stars, tug of war, crafts, and wagon ride thru the campground to view lighted campsites.
Sunday morning we will have a church service in the campground amphitheatre with kindergarten & 3rd graders to receive Bibles at the service and refreshments to follow.
