The Zionaires will be traveling to St. Cloud on Wednesday, September 15, to view the beautiful Munsinger Clemens gardens. These gardens are on the former site of a sawmill on the Mississippi River. The City of St. Cloud purchased the land in 1915 for a park, but it was really developed into its beautiful gardens during the Great Depression with help from the WPA (Works Progress Administration). The bus will be leaving from the church 9:30am and return about 2pm. The only cost will be $10 per person for transportation.
Sign up at the information desk at the church or call the Brennys at 682-2979.
Other upcoming Zionaires events include: October 20: Lawyer/Financial Planner/Community Center Director speaking at Zion November: Christmas Tree Decorating at the Wright County Museum December 16: Lunch with the Zion Staff
The group will meet at Zion at 10am, bus to Coon Rapids and serve at Feed My Starving Children from 11:30-1:30, and then go to Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park, which is very near the facility and Pastor Karri‘s home, for a picnic hosted by Pastor Karri. Estimated time back at Zion is 4pm.
