30 Hour Famine

30 Hour FamineToday, 25,000 kids under age 5 will die – most of them from preventable causes like hunger, poverty, and disease. That’s one child every three seconds. Nobody should die because of an empty stomach.

On April 23-24, Zion is going to be doing a 30 hour famine! This is open to all Senior High and Confirmation students. This will be an opportunity to come together, serve others and learn more about this global epidemic, through games, lessons, discussion and more!

There will be an information meeting on Wednesday, April 7, at 7:30pm for all interested students 7th-12th Grade and their parents. This will be the opportunity to learn what it is about, how to raise funds, what service projects can be done and more!
